Data protection for employees 2026

Welcome to the „Data protection for employees“ course.

Target group:

This course is aimed at all employees who would like to expand their knowledge in the area of data protection. The course offers practical insights into how to successfully implement the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and work in compliance with data protection regulations. After completing the course, you will be able to

• understand and explain the basic data protection terms,
• recognize data protection violations and avoid sanctions,
• safely apply the GDPR requirements when handling personal data.

How to navigate through the course:

• The course consists of interactive explanations, exercises and short tests.
• At the end of the course you have to take a final test.
• Scroll from top to bottom. At the bottom of each page you will find either a button for a short intermediate test or the “Mark as completed” button. Click on this and then on the button for the next lesson to continue.
• Take your time and work at your own pace.
• For better readability, the simultaneous use of masculine, feminine and diverse language forms is avoided. All terms apply equally to all genders.
